Supertrope returns in the New Year, bring on the 2017! We play catch up and do out Personal Top 10 of 2016!
We catch up on the games we've played over the holidays:
• Cameron delves into the Darkest Dungeon
• Tommy explores games, cats, and car troubles
• Cain plays tons of Hitman and plays the "Crisp Like Butter" Titanfall 2
• Cody plays the unique RPG Lisa, Blizzard games, and comes out about forsaking ANIMU for Broadway.
• Josh explains The Swearjogger Test and keeps Mad Max... the Maddest Max... TO THE MAX!
Then we're off to the races, we go round-by-round doing our Personal Top 10 "Video Good Games" of 2016! No rules just the games we enjoyed the most.
Next week we discuss the Nintendo Switch, do our official Supertrope Game of the Year 2016, and do our Video Game Draft 2017!
Uh... Merry Christmas?
Yeah we're a bit late on uploading this podcast...
On with the show! Recording in the middle of our Christmas break we kept this one short, doing a quick What You've Been Playing before doing a comparison of the first three years of the Xbox One / PlayStation 4 and the first three years of the Xbox 360 / PlayStation 3.
Our Game of the Year discussion and Video Game Draft are coming up!
The Servo rises as we are fully assembled to discuss the madness that was Game Awards and PSX!
Cameron goes into the dark world of breeding, both Pokemon and blood flies. Pour one out for Cain's P.T. demo, because he upgraded to a Pro and that baby is gone! We discuss the future of hardware and the essence of FFXV. Cody dabbles in Pokemon and plays Total Accurate Battle Sim (TABS). Josh and Watch Dogs 2 fist bump and roll credits and enjoys the shadow drops of PSX with Parappa and Resident Evil 7!
Then things get going as we dive into the highs and lows of the current state of the Game Awards. We go down the rabbit hole of Death's Stranding (though only a little bit) and discuss Nolan North's powerful acceptance speech.
Then on to the big show that is PSX! We start things off with Uncharted: Lost Legacy, Cody talks Let It Die, and we consider what it really means to be Resident Evil.
Knack 2? Bringing back the rhythm with Parappa and Patapon. Nioh, Nier, Ni-No-Kuni 2, Oh MY!
(Our Final Top 100 list below)
We battle the Black Friday plague and wrap up our Top 100 of the Generation in our 10th episode!
In What We've Been Playing we go over Planet Coaster, Final Fantasy XV, Titan Quest Anniversary, Pokemon Sun & Moon, and Watch Dogs 2
Then it's on to the finale, it all comes down to this, we crown one game as our Game of the Generation and wrap up our multi-episode project.

(Top 100 list below)
Okay you caught us, we were a little late getting the podcast going after Extra Life. Let us make it up to you with a grand tale of BlizzCon, Sarah Palin hair panthers, and fringe bros.
SO much to catch up on!
We drown in the sea of new releases and touch on Tyranny, Shadow Warrior 2, Diablo 1 PTR, Owlboy, Titanfall 2, and Call of Duty Infinite Warfare.
BlizzCon! The really bad main show and really great side panels, Cain's got us covered. We keep getting grumpy with our favorites and shake our empty handed fist at the NES mini and Nintendo's inability to launch anything well stocked.
Then things keep getting juicy as we work our way through the upper half of our grand list of Top 100 of X360/PS3/Wii, we bicker between Zelda, Gears of War, Assassin's Creed, and more this week before going into the finale next week! #50-26:

(Top 100 list below)
We are missing a Cody but the show must go on. We quickly go over what we've been playing as always. Cain jams with Rock Band Rivals and drools over Super Mario Galaxy 2 on the Dolphin emulator, Cameron plots in Civilization and plans for Extra Life 2016, Tommy stays the course with Mafia III even though his keyboard tries to pull him over, and Josh gets spooky in virtual reality with Here They Lie.
Recording on Halloween and uploading the day after we had to talk about our favorite scary games! Dead Space, Red Dead Undead Nightmare, the first Diablo game, and the Eel from Mario 64?
Then on to round 2 of our epic Top 100 Games of the Generation deliberation. After fixing a few user errors on the list we make our way through ranking #51-75:

Snuggle up and get cozy, this is a big one. So many games to play, discuss, and rank this week.
(Top 100 list below)
Cody plays the brutal rogue-like Goner and grapples with A Story With My Uncle, Cain falls for Battlefield 1 along with most of us, Josh explores PSVR, Cameron preaches Civilization VI, and Tommy explores the Halloween spirit in Guild Wars 2 and laments about the unfairness of time and the lack of it for pumpkin carving.
We were hit hard in the same morning with some of the biggest news of the year with the unveiling of the Nintendo's new game system the Switch, and the official announcement of Red Dead Redemption 2. With only a glimpse of both we make bold, silly, probably wrong, predictions!
Things get loose with an open discussion and deliberation of the bottom quarter of our Top 100 Games of the Generation to celebrate the 10+ year anniversary of the PS3, Wii, and X360.

Super Mario RPG - EP.1:
Full cast and well rested, we cover a ton of ground in this episode. Games are raining down upon us, we go deep into Mafia III, Dragon Quest Builders, Thumper, Paper Mario: Color Splash, and... Paladin? Dammit Cain.
Things get juicy when we intend to go on break but Josh's beard is bristling over game companies charging extra for early access, we talk about life for the little guy in retail and our point of view on subjects like pre-orders and digital exclusives.
After the "break" we get excited about the impending (now official) Red Dead Redemption 2 hint/announcement! Plus the United Front Games closure and writer's strikes.
Big things ahead for Supertrope as we crack our knuckles and discuss our future plans to take on Top 100 of the X360, PS3, and Wii in celebration of the 10 year anniversary. Plus some Grope-a-trope.

NEW Mario Maker level!
Luigi's Mansion: Mr. Boojangles
We swapped a Servo for a Cain this time, we discuss tons of cool new games we've been playing like Obduction, Overcooked, Osiris: New Dawn, and Forza Horizon 3.
We then discuss the weird situation with Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare and Call of Duty Modern Warfare remastered; Nidhogg 2 and its new art style; and things get real about Mafia III and its potential to tackle the subject of race.
Tommy catches us up on his games from and coming in 2016 and we wrap things up, as always, with a game of Grope-a-trope. Thanks for listening!
